DOE Recognizes Engr. Marionel Peralta for Outstanding Contribution to Energy Efficiency 

 

The Department of Energy (DOE) has formally recognized Engr. Marionel Peralta, President of the Philippine Institute of Energy Management Professionals, Inc. (PIEMPI), for his valuable contributions to the country’s Energy Efficiency programs.

In the ceremony held December 17, 2025 at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Manila, Engr. Peralta was cited as an Outstanding Energy Efficiency Practitioner, acknowledging his sustained leadership, technical expertise, and advocacy in promoting energy efficiency and effective energy management across various sectors. His work has significantly supported national efforts to reduce energy consumption, improve operational efficiency, and advance sustainable development.

As PIEMPI President, Engr. Peralta has been instrumental in strengthening professional standards, capacity-building initiatives, and industry collaboration in energy management. The DOE recognition highlights his dedication to advancing best practices and empowering energy professionals to contribute meaningfully to the country’s energy efficiency goals.
